Nicole and Tatjana

Tell us your love story. How did you meet?

We were both studying our respective degrees at uni in Townsville, we both lived on campus at different colleges and had mutual friends. We knew of each other but officially met at a party. We went on our first date at the beach and the rest is history.

The Proposal – her or her? Was it a surprise?

Nicole proposed, it was totally a surprise, we were holidaying on the Torres Strait islands and were hanging out at the beach in the rock pools when I turned around and Nicole had a ring out!

Why did you choose Earlando? Was there something that made it stand out from the other venues for you?

It was just stunning, and relevant to us. Coming from both country, meeting in Townsville but also always being by the ocean. That and Teena and Ben made us feel like we were in good hands.

Did you have a theme to your wedding/wedding styling? What inspired this?

Native florals was the theme, because Australia is a beautiful country and we love the native flora and fauna

What was your favourite part of your wedding?

The private vows at the pier, and of course the dance floor
