Karra and Tristan

Tell us your love story. How did you meet?

We met in primary school and attended high school together, however we did not get along until the very last year in grade 12. We bumped into each other at a night club, two years after graduating. After a 2am kebab – the rest is history! 

The Proposal – him or her? Was it a surprise?

Tristan proposed to Karra while horseback riding on the beach. It was a huge surprise but well overdue – we’d only be dating for 8 years!!! 

Where did you spend your honeymoon?

We spent the week in beautiful Airlie Beach the week before the wedding.We plan on taking a belated honeymoon to South Africa for our one-year anniversary. 

Why did you choose Earlando?

Earlando was just the most amazing venue, with the perfect combination of beach and country. It had the laid-back, country vibe we were searching for. What really sold us was Ben and Teena, they were so warm and accommodating and we kn ew our wedding would be in good hands with them. Such a genuinely lovely couple who go up and beyond to make your day so special. 

Did you have a theme to your wedding/wedding styling? What inspired this?

Our florals and decorations were country rustic but our suits/dresses were a bit mo re of a costal vibe.It tied in beautifully with the venue.

What was your favourite part of your wedding?

I don’t think we could pick a favourite, everything from the food to the band was just perfect. The weather really turned it on for us and even gave us a full moon to light our dance floor. We were truly blessed with the best day we could have asked for.
